Meals & Activities

We offer home-cooked, resident-selected menus for our meals as well as seasonal fruits, vegetables and nutritious snacks. Our dietician works with our cooks to handle any special dietary needs including mechanical soft diets and pureed diets.

Our residents enjoy games, movies, glamour nails, crafts, cooking, social hours and spiritual activities regularly. We are also pleased to offer resident outings chosen each month in our Resident Council Meeting. We schedule at least two local outings to restaurants each month. Other outings of choice have included trips to the local fair, State Fair, Indianapolis Zoo, Local Fishing Lakes / ponds, and Local Theatres. All outings include a wheelchair accessible bus. Trained staff accompanies the residents on the outings. Families are always welcomed to meet us at any outing location.

"First, I was unsure about coming here. After I ventured through the doors for the first time, I found the people to be nice and compatible, and that was just the residents. The workers are wonderful people, willing to help in any way possible with anything."
- Carolyn, President of Resident Council
