Franklin, named after Benjamin Franklin, is about 20 miles south of Indianapolis. It is noted for the number of well-maintained older buildings, including the Artcraft Theatre and Franklin College which was established in 1834. Hickory Creek at Franklin is conveniently located within minutes of Johnson Memorial Hospital.

We have a dedicated on-site rehabilitation team comprised of licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists fully committed to restoring and improving quality of life. We offer short-term rehab after a hospital stay as well as inpatient rehab.

Meals & Activities

We offer home-cooked, resident-selected menus for our meals as well as seasonal fruits, vegetables and nutritious snacks. Our dietician works with our cooks to handle any special dietary needs.


Our residents enjoy group activities and monthly outings. We have weekly devotional services and Bible study. We also welcome guests from our community for weekly afternoon movies with volunteers from Grace United Methodist Church.
