Helping Us Help Others

We are always seeking volunteers to help with our activities programs and interact with residents. Examples of things our volunteers help with include:

 

  • Indoor and outdoor social activities
  • Arts, crafts, music, drama and educational programs
  • Exercise programs
  • One-on-one and group activities
  • Reading to residents
  • Regularly visiting residents who have no local family

All volunteers are screened and go through a training process.

 

For the protection of our residents, we do ask that you give two personal references. Volunteers must also take a tuberculin test provided by Hickory Creek Healthcare and sign a confidentiality agreement regarding resident health information.

 

Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome with parental consent.
